By using the Samli app (“the Service”), you accept these terms and conditions (“the Terms”). If you do not accept the Terms, you must not use the Service. Samli ApS (“we”, “us” or “Samli”) reserves the right to change the Terms at any time. We will inform you of material changes via the app or email.
1. Licence to Use
Samli grants you a personal, worldwide, royalty-free, non-transferable and non-exclusive licence to use the Service for personal or non-commercial purposes, subject to these Terms. You may not:
- Copy, modify, distribute or reverse-engineer the Service without our written permission.
- Use the Service for illegal purposes or in ways that infringe the rights of third parties.
- Attempt to circumvent security measures or gain unauthorised access to the Service.
The Service is intended for users aged 13 and over (or older if required by local law). If you are under 18, you must have the permission of a parent or guardian.
2. User-Generated Content (UGC)
The Service allows users to create, upload and share content such as text, images, videos or other material (“User Content”). You are solely responsible for your User Content, and Samli acts solely as a platform.
Guidelines for User Content:
- User Content must not:
- Be unlawful, offensive, threatening, harassing or discriminatory (e.g. based on race, ethnicity, gender, religion or sexual orientation).
- Contain pornographic, sexually explicit or violent material.
- Infringe copyright, trademarks or other intellectual property rights.
- Promote illegal activities, such as the sale of drugs, weapons or fraud.
- Contain spam, misinformation or content targeting children in an inappropriate manner.
- We moderate User Content both proactively and based on reports from users. You can report inappropriate content via the Service’s reporting function.
- We reserve the right to remove or suspend User Content or accounts that violate these guidelines without prior notice.
- By uploading User Content, you grant Samli a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive licence to display, distribute and moderate the content in connection with the Service. You retain ownership of your content.

3. Account and Data Management
To use certain features of the Service, you must create an account. You are responsible for protecting your login credentials and for all activity on your account.
User Deletion:

- We process deletion requests within 30 days in accordance with the GDPR. Please note that certain data may be retained if required by law (e.g. for accounting purposes).

4. Liability and Disclaimer
The Service is provided “as is” without warranties. Samli is not liable for loss of data, indirect damages or damages caused by User Content. Our total liability is limited to the amount you have paid for the Service in the last 12 months.
5. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service if you violate the Terms. You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us or using the deletion form mentioned above.
6. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms are governed by Danish law. Any disputes shall be resolved by the courts of Denmark.
