What is shared in the group stays in the group.

Not every meeting and every piece of material is for the whole community. In Samli you choose for each meeting and each group who can see it, and your administrators control who is in.

Choosing the visibility of a meeting: the whole organisation, one group, or private for those invited.

Visibility for each meeting

When a meeting is created, the organiser chooses whether all groups in the organisation, only the members of one group or only those invited can see it. If a member writes why they decline, only the organisers and administrators can see it.

Groups with their own access

Posts, questions and files in a group are for the group's members. A group can be made visible to the other groups in the organisation, and a new group can be prepared as a draft before members are invited.

When a member leaves

An administrator can remove a member from a group or from the whole organisation and choose whether the member's posts and other content are deleted as well. Whatever remains is shown without a name, as Deleted user.

Questions about access and visibility

Only the organisation's administrators can export the member list. The participant list for a meeting can be exported by those who can edit the meeting, such as the organiser.

The data processing agreement with Samli is in Administration. Your administrator can read it, accept it and download it as a PDF there. How Samli processes personal data is described in Samli's privacy policy.

Only if you choose so. For each open event you decide whether it is visible to members and whether it is available on a public page. Meetings in the groups are only for those with access.

Who should be able to see what in your community?
